Salmon Heli-Rappellers

An Aviation forest

After the consolidation of the Moyer Helitack, Indianola Helitack and Salmon National programs in 2008, all three crews continued to operate independently under one facility. In 2010, a more effective organizational structure was established, leading to the full integration of the crews into one single module. From this the Salmon Heli-Rappellers were formed into the crew we know today. This page is dedicated to those who came before us--who laid the foundation for rappelling into wildfires and built the legacy that we continue to carry forward within the rappel community.
